It seems as if stubborn fat clings to your thighs with demon fangs! So how can we get that extra oomph to eliminate fat from one of these most stubborn areas and finally and for good lose fat thighs. You need to use a three pronged approach which we will offer you here. Let’s get right to it.
Step Number One is Exercise.
And we need to incorporate both anaerobic and aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise to lose fat thighs are things that most of you are already familiar with. Things like walking and running and tennis and jazzercise are all aerobic exercise. Anaerobic exercise doesn’t make you really out of breath. But it works the muscles harder and for a shorter time.

Squats, leg extensions etc, are anaerobic exercises. Now to lose fat thighs you have to do both kinds. Walking, running or any other exercise that gets your body moving is super important. The more you can elevate your heart rate the more calories you’ll burn and this will help encourage those nasty little fat cells to run away from your thighs.
We’d recommend that you aim for the equivalent of a 1 hour walk a day for 3 or 4 times a week. Equivalents would be roughly 30 minutes of jogging/dancing/tennis 3 or 4 times a week. If you are motivated to lose fat thighs even quicker than do more for longer or with greater intensity.
Now as you lose fat thighs you need to have lovely toned muscle to celebrate underneath. And they way to do this is with anaerobic exercise. Some of our favs are squats (you don’t even need weight), running will do a great job too. You get twice the bang for your buck with running. Also jumping from side to side really helps your outer thighs big time.
Step Number Two is Diet.
I know the dreaded D word. But really, it’s not that big of a deal. You can make tremendous strides to lose fat thighs with just a couple of good tweaks to what you are already doing.
One of the easiest things to do to lose fat thighs is just make every beverage you drink good old fashioned water. Or if you want you can drink other calorie free beverages. Tea, coffee or even diet pop is allowed. Though you know diet pop isn’t healthy.
This one small thing could make all the difference to you in how you lose fat thighs.
One other tip is to limit your treats to just one day a week. And choose a good day when you’ll be out and about. Friday or Saturday is usually best for most of you. That way you can visit friends and not worry about splurging. And then you can make it six days by staying on a good whole foods diet.

Step Three is Mind Health.
Mind health is so overlooked in overall weight loss, but especially on how to lose fat thighs. Most people think that to lose fat thighs you just have to focus on diet or exercise. But really ladies, we all know that our biggest obstacle is often ourselves!
Try and practice mindful meditation as you go about your daily activities. Try and become a dispassionate observer over your thoughts. We’ve had girlfriends who have been amazed at the detrimental chatter going on in their minds.
But don’t beat yourself up about it. Just observe like a caring friend.
Your mind is really just like an unruly child. So to lose fat thighs become aware of your inner dialogue. And just gently push the negative criticisms away. And then try practicing positivity. Give yourself motivational one-liners. “I am beautiful and lean”, “My thighs are getting slimmer every day.” These little words of encouragement will really help you to lose fat thighs.
And especially if you have a slip up, don’t beat yourself up about it. Just get back up and carry on.
