How to Build Lean Muscle Fast

Going to the gym to build up some muscle has never been more popular. Everybody wants to be muscle bound these days. Some guys though want more than just to become a walking mass of muscle. 1. Start by doing 4 weight training workouts per week with a maximum one hour for each session. Make sure that you follow that simple routine strictly because anything more than that could mean overtraining which might harm your chances of getting god results.

2. If you desire to gain more weight and build up some bulk then you can take your current body weight and multiply that by 15, the result should be your daily caloric intake. Make sure that you use pounds when you measure your body’s weight.

3. Use a journal to keep track of your progress. It might sound like a simple thing but once you know how much progress you are doing then you could look back to see if there is any improvement at all on your performance.

4. Make changes and variations to your reps and your exercise sets more often than what other exercise routines recommend. That would ensure that the muscles would not get used to the kind of exercise that you are doing.

5. Aim for building up as much as 5 to 7 pounds of pure lean muscle for every 1 to 2 month period. If you gain more mass than that it would probably be fat.

6. Eat up a lot of fruits and vegetables. You should go for about ten to fifteen servings of fruits and vegetables everyday. That should keep you full for most of the day.

7. Find a partner, someone you can do workouts with you. That would add to the desire to push yourself which could contribute to the speed of your getting some results.

8. If you want to build muscles fast then you should never ever train on an empty stomach.

9. Eat up a lot of carbohydrates during the period when your body needs it. These periods would be during breakfast, before workout, and after workout.

10. If you want to see results fast then you should train the muscle groups of your body that are least developed.

11. Avoid eating processed and packaged foods. Stay away from junk foods from fast food joints.

12. Make sure that you get a massage right after each exercise session, that will be your insurance against any form of injury that might happen because of lifting weights.

13. Although it might be unpleasant you should take a cold shower right after every workout. Studies have shown that it is quite effective in developing muscles.
